Mission Statement
The Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau is a non-profit,
Colorado organization (501.c6). The bureau's primary mission is to attract
leisure, business, and meeting visitors to Colorado Springs and the Pikes
Peak region (El Paso, Teller, and Fremont counties).� A staff of 18
full-time and 5 part-time employees implement the strategic plan to accomplish
the mission.� The president and C.E.O. of the bureau reports to a
twenty-five member board of directors.� The bureau is funded through
receipts generated from the Lodgers, Campgrounds, and Automobile Rental
Tax, a membership program, and�
general funds from El Paso County.
