Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. The bridge is an amazing 1,053 feet
above the rushing Arkansas River. You can ride the world's steepest
incline railway to the bottom of the incredible canyon, soar high
above the chasm in the thrilling aerial tram, experience the grandeur
of the gorge by traveling by train through the spectacular scenery
of the Royal Gorge, or meet the white-water challenge of the Arkansas
as it roars through the gorge. Many other wondrous and fascinating
things await you in the Royal Gorge Region. The area offers a variety
of outdoor activities for the entire family year 'round. Wild west
